AppFolio has partnered with Zillow to expand its prospect-scheduled showings functionality. In addition to self-scheduling a showing from a property management website, prospects can now view showing availability and schedule a showing directly from vacancy listings on the Zillow Rental Network.
This allows property managers to engage with prospects while they're actively viewing a listing, rather than requiring a back and forth via email or redirecting them to a separate site.
How It Works
For properties that allow self-scheduled showings and are posted on the Zillow Rental Network, prospects can:
- 1Click "Schedule a Tour" on the listing
- 2See the staff's real-time availability based on data in AppFolio
- 3Schedule a tour slot directly
That tour will automatically be created in AppFolio and assigned to the specific unit selected by the prospect. If no specific unit is selected, the system will assign the showing to one of the units at that property currently listed online.
Platform Expansion
While this functionality is currently limited to Zillow Rental Network listings, AppFolio plans to expand it to other major ILS partners such as Apartments.com, Rent., and Zumper in the coming months.
How to Enable
To enable this feature, go to:
